A small crew that finishes what it starts

GK Luxury Remodeling is a small company, and that is deliberate. For seven years most of our work came through one general contractor — we were the crew they sent when the finish had to be right. We are now taking that work directly.

What that means for you: the person who quotes the job is the person on site. There is no project manager relaying messages, no crew you have never met letting themselves in. It also means we take fewer jobs at a time, and we say so when a date is not realistic.

We are fully insured. We are not a licensed general contractor, and we do not pretend to be — for work that requires a permit we bring in licensed trades we have used for years and coordinate them ourselves. It is a cleaner arrangement than it sounds, and it is how most high-end tile and finish work actually gets done.

Central Florida is not an English-only market. We quote, contract and run jobs in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese — which matters most to the Brazilian owners around Davenport and Championsgate who are managing a property from another continent.

How long does a bathroom take?

From demolition to handover, a full bathroom is normally a matter of days rather than weeks. The estimate names a finish date and we order materials around it, so the room is not sitting open waiting on a delivery.

Do I have to move out?

For a single bathroom or a kitchen, no. We seal the work area, protect the floors on the route in and out, and clean at the end of every day. For a whole-floor renovation it is usually easier on everyone if the house is empty.

Who handles plumbing and electrical?

Licensed trades we have worked with for years. We coordinate them and stay your single point of contact, so you are not chasing three companies for one bathroom.

Do you work outside Orlando?

We cover Orlando, Kissimmee, Davenport, Winter Garden, Clermont, Championsgate, Celebration and Saint Cloud. Ask about anywhere else — if it is a reasonable drive we will quote it.

How does payment work?

A deposit to schedule and order materials, then payments tied to stages of the job rather than dates. The estimate spells this out before you commit to anything.
